Summer Youth Initiative Job Fair Draws Hundreds of Teens
Summer jobs are not always easy to find, but today hundreds of TeenQuest graduates had an opportunity to gain summer employment at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Summer Youth Initiative (SYI) Job Fair. Regional Chamber YouthQuest Celebrates the Arts with ArtQuest 2012
Art inspired by Picasso, music reflecting diversity and poetry to lift your spirit will be on display as the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce YouthQuest afterschool program presents ArtQuest 2012: A Celebration of Colors. On Tuesday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m. the public is welcome to attend a reception and experience visual, written and performance art during the event kickoff, which features a silent auction of the students' works. Last week, we announced that the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce now leads tourism efforts for Flint and Genesee County. We have created a new action group called the Flint-Genesee Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau. We have a dedicated staff and budget, and we have hit the ground running with an aggressive marketing plan. We couldn't be more excited about this new opportunity! |
