Crim Festival of Races

Flint is the annual host to the Crim Festival of Races. Ranked one of the top ten races in the U.S., over 14,000 participants turn out for the race every year. A tradition for over 31 years, the Crim races bring people from all over the country together and promote fitness and well-being.

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad

Honoring the area's rich history, Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad are 51 acres frozen in time. The village and railroad welcome 150,000 visitors each year to wander through the historic homes, mills and shops dating back to the 1800s. Crossroads Village, with its 34 historic structures and authentic narrow gauge steam railroad, takes visitors back to a simpler time with friendly folks in period attire and train and ferry boat rides. The Genesee Belle, operated by the Genesee County Parks, is a paddlewheel excursion boat that takes Crossroads Village visitors for a scenic cruise on adjacent Mott Lake.

Genesee County Parks

Home to the largest County Parks system in the state of Michigan, The Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission owns and operates 11,000 acres of parkland used for a variety of events and activities including camping, fishing, swimming, biking and more. The Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission is dedicated to providing residents and visitors with affordable, quality, recreational and educational facilities that instill an appreciation for the great outdoors.

Flint Fury

The Flint Fury minor league football team has been a community favorite for over seven years. As a member of the Mid-Continental Football League, the Fury are committed to giving fans a great game as a well established team honoring the great sport of football.

Michigan Warriors

A member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), the Michigan Warriors are a Tier II Junior A ice hockey team bringing a new era of hockey to the Flint area. Playing in Perani Arena & Event Center, the Michigan Warriors give fans hard-hitting hockey action.

Perani Arena & Event Center

Professional sports have been associated with this multi-use facility since its inception. The arena has been home to professional hockey, basketball and arena football teams. The Perani Arena and Event Center continues to bring quality entertainment to Genesee County. The arena hosts a wide variety of sporting events, children’s shows, expos, trade shows and graduations. Annual events held at the arena include the Flint Shrine Circus, Flint Home Builders and Garden Show, Flint Journal Women’s Expo and the Flint Camper and RV Show.
