The Third Annual Premier Entrepreneurial Event for Genesee County!

If you are a current or aspiring entrepreneur, the third annual Jumpstart Entrepreneurs Conference can provide you with information about local resources and services to increase your chances of success.

Presented by the eTeam and the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, the conference will be held on Thursday, March 25, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre on Hill Road. The eTeam is a regional collaboration of entreprenerial service providers, including the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, Kettering University, the Michigan Small Business Technology and Development Center (MI-SBTDC), Mott Community College, the Flint Area Enterprise Community, University of Michigan-Flint Center for Entrepreneurship, Automation Alley, Baker College of Flint, and others.

At this year's event, participants will have the opportunity to hear other business professionals talk about their experiences with starting, developing, and managing businesses. Topics during breakout sessions will include government contracting, business planning, social media/networking, human resources, and others. Participants also will have the opportunity to hear a panel discussion about various topics of interest to entrepreneurs.

Lunch during the conference will feature an awards ceremony honoring local entrepreneurs and a speech by a prominent local business owner and entrepreneur.
